A few weeks ago I received a comment on one of my videos and it got me thinking about the future of ETT. The comment was “Bryce, you will never blow up, you will remain an unknown. I’m sorry.”
I try so hard to not put so much stock into the opinions of others. I try my best to control what’s in my power and not let anything outside of that get to me. This comment struck a nerve though.
I’ve been doing this podcast for over two years and the blog for just as long now and I’ve barely grown at all. Why am I putting in so much work day in and day out when no one is reading my blogs or listening to the podcasts?
If I’m doing this much work and not growing, what’s the point of continuing? To be honest, I no longer see one.
Yeah it’s been great putting my thoughts down and meeting a bunch of talented artists and musicians, but this shit doesn’t pay the bills. Why should I continue spending this much time and energy on something when I should focus on making money?
So with that being said, this will be my final Day to Day blog post. I’m done writing. I’d rather keep my thoughts and ideas to myself. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. At least now you have plenty of time to catch up on past blogs.
