Lead by Example

I love the idea of leading by example. There’s something inspiring about watching someone do something impressive and wanting to do it yourself.

My 75 Hard journey started because of the results my friend had from doing it. While he was going through it, I didn’t think much of it besides “maybe I’ll do that someday”. But when I saw his results by the end, I was hooked.

You can know all the best ways to perform a task, but if people don’t see the results, they won’t follow. You have to practice what you preach and let the outcomes dish for themselves. No about of talk about doing 75 Hard will be enough to inspire someone, but when people watch you and witness your accomplishments, everything changes.

I never tell people what they should do because that never flips the switch in their brain. If something works for me, I keep doing it and let people witness. When they like what they see, they follow your example.

So stop telling people what to do and trying to convince them. If something works for you, keep doing it and let them choose their next actions. Prove how beneficial your fitness routine, philosophy, habits, and processed are by doing them. If they get inspired, hell yeah. If not, maybe you got them thinking about their own way to be better.
