Appreciation of a Person’s Uniqueness

I don’t know what exactly this thought pattern is or why it’s happening, but I’m kinda into it.

I’ve started appreciating the idea that we all have unique skills, knowledge, interests, and ideas. For some reason that’s been fascinating to me.

I think about it in the context of my friend group. When we all get together, we each bring our own unique selves to the table. Even though we’re all pretty different, there’s something there that just works. All the craziness, all the variability in ideas and interests melt together and create something special.

It’s been cool to consider this idea with other people. To think about how unique this person is in front of me. This person has such a specific mindset and set of ideas that they formed through experience. They have their own passions and the things they despise, all created through trial and error. Just think about all the ideas you could share and stories they could tell!

You will never meet anyone who is exactly the same as this person in front of you. The chances of you meeting this person are too slim to write in a blog.

Think about that when you meet someone new or even when you’re with a life-long friend. Learn something from them, share stories, be fascinated with all the possibilities out there and how of all the scenarios, the universe created this person.
