Are you prepared for the inevitable change Nature promises to bring? Are you too content with the status quo and so scared of the unknown that you lose all rationality when the Universe makes its move?
When life is running smoothly, it’s pretty nice. Your worries are low, your focus is on hobbies, your happiness and presence comes easier, life is pretty good. But are you going to be able to respond well when all that changes?
Your character is shown not when the path is clear, but when you’re put to the test. When everything is going according to plan, it’s easy to be at peace. But when shit hits the fan, you have to be able to keep that rationality and positive outlook. You should prepare for change since you know it’s inevitable. But how do you prepare when you don’t know what’s to come?
You may not know the specifics of what Nature has in store, but you can be sure something will come up. This isn’t meant to bring anxiety into your life, it’s a way of being grateful, realistic, and courageous. What will you do if you lose your job? What happens if an emergency strikes and your savings are wiped out? What will you do when life isn’t as easy as it is right now?
It’s wise to take all the aspects of your life that are going well and imagine some of the things that could go wrong. Never expect everything to be like this forever. Consider what could happen and how you’ll respond when they do. How can you overcome and be better without stress, anger, or negativity?
The point of this is to never be caught off guard. No one can expect smooth sailing forever, but everyone can be prepared for rough waters. There’s no need to dread challenges. If you take the time to anticipate the possibilities and determine how you’ll proceed, you’ll be ready for anything. You’ll realize change isn’t bad and the status quo isn’t necessarily good. You’ll be grateful for what you have but never to a point where losing it will be devastating.
Nature is always changing, so you can’t expect to escape that reality. No matter how well your life is playing out, changes will arise. Will you be prepared?
