Unlike Alice, you don’t have to fall down a rabbit hole to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. Normally you see the Mad Hatter sipping on cups of tea, but once this coffee dropped, there was no going back.
This coffee from Mexico brings all the aromas and tastes of a Wonderland tea party straight to your palette. There’s a molasses bread-like sweetness in the dry fragrance, with dark sugar and savory nut notes on top. The wet aroma is nicely spiced with a note of cinnamon sticks and fragrant sugars. The brew has a nice, simple sweetness of brown sugar that carries the cup. It’s sweet, uncomplicated, and sure to please all the Hatter’s guests.
This medium-dark roast has the flavors of bready sweets and baked goods, like malt bread, and old fashioned molasses cake, with a hint of cinnamon. This will make a nice espresso, but don’t be afraid to brew it as a pour over!
