There are days when you just know you’re going to win. When those days come, use them to your advantage.
When I tell you I had more motivation yesterday than ever before, I ain’t fibbing. I was so pumped up, I felt unstoppable. In part, I was fueled by anger, which I’m not proud of, but there was a flip in my brain that told me I was going to win. With every fiber of my being, I knew I was going to make it out of this anxious period stronger than ever. I knew I was going to finish 75 Hard looking and feeling better than I ever had before.
I used every ounce of this motivation to take on my day. I added weight to my vest, walked faster and further, I added weight to my lifts, I did extra sets, I wrote my blog without hesitation, and I felt good throughout all of it. I knew deep within me that what I’m dealing with right now sucks, but none of it matters. All of it will pass and all I have to do is keep going, keep pushing myself, and become a better version of me in every way possible.
Unfortunately, not every day is like this. Even today, some negative thoughts and overthinking came into the picture, but I reminded myself of how incredible yesterday felt and reminded myself of what I need to do. The motivation will come and go, but the lessons you learn in the moments of high should be enough to push you through the lows.
When you feel like you’re on top of the world, don’t squander it. Use everything in you to push yourself and progress further. Listen to the positivity in your head, believe it when you tell yourself you’re going to win, know you’re going to make it through anything that tries to stop you.
Use the energy you feel to your advantage and remind yourself of it when you don’t think you have what it takes. You will win and you will make it out if you push yourself, focus on your improvement, and stay consistent.
